Welcome to the Planty Plant Place website. A place where you’ll find all things planty, green and good!
I’m a guy based in NSW, Australia, about thirty minutes from the city of Newcastle and close to Maitland. I’ve always had gardens and grown plants but recently I’ve become more obsessive about it. I have a good sized vegetable garden which produces a lot of my vegetables, salads, greens, herbs, spices, and berries. But that’s not enough to feed my addiction to plants so I also have an ever expanding collection of succulents, cacti, ferns, aroids, and and a whole bunch of different indoor plants.
Planty Plant Place is where I share my collection of plants and some of the things I have learned from owning plants for many years. I’m also learning new things everyday and I will share it all with you.
I am also interested in art (painting) and photography so I’ll share that too when they relate to plants as I love photographing and painting plants.
I am not a botanist. I do my best not to annoy botanists but I’m not always successful. So if you see that I have done something wrong then just let me know in the comments on that page. My mistakes might trigger you but still, be polite. I’m happy to be corrected and really appreciate any constructive criticism or feedback that teaches me something and/or improves Planty Plant Place.
