First post on the Planty Plant Place website.. woohoo! Still lots of tinkering and changing things around yet but the site is live. So I figured I would talk about my plans for the site and how I hope to see it grow over the next few months and beyond.
Firstly, I’m a 40-something year old guy based in New South Wales, Australia. I love plants, all sorts of plants, and I plan to use this website as a record of my plant collection with photos and as much information as I can on each plant. I also plan to use the site to learn more about plants and share that knowledge with others.
My main interests at the moment are succulents, cacti, indoor plants, ferns, native Australian plants, and I’ve always had a liking for anything weird or rare. I grow a lot of my own vegetables, berries, salads, and herbs too but I probably won’t talk about them much on here.. or maybe I will, we’ll see.
In the future I will probably start the Planty Plant Place shop and sell plants online but for now I’ll be focusing on sharing my love of plants with other gardeners and plant collectors.
Hopefully I can figure out how to make this website more interactive and helpful to plant lovers but until then, feel free to comment on the posts, ask questions, offer answers, share your experiences growing the plant that is being featured, and lets help each other.
