I created a list of Winter Dormant succulents here and then figured I better hurry up and create a summer dormancy list. The winter growers include some of my favorite succulents like the Adromischus, Haworthia and Pachyphytum genus plants. If I was a succulent I would probably be summer dormant too as I just shut down during the hottest months of the year here in Australia!
List of Summer Dormant Succulent Plants
Winter growers will grow best in the cooler months which include fall (autumn), winter and spring but they’ll slow down or completely stop growing in the hottest months of summer.
